In this session I want to explore the relationship with desire and fear and why fear keeps coming up trumps…. to extinguish the fire of our desire. Desire alone will also not get you there. Desire is a feeling that stays passive until you use it as fuel in performing the action.. which is what actually get's you there. Commitment to arriving at the destination, despite not knowing the way…is the other feeling you will need to fuel your actions. So we have desire, belief and commitment as the ingredients so far, but the thing that will see us braving our way through this adventure with all the bumps and blocks and twists and turn's we will encounter… is our ability to feel the discomfort of our feelings along the way. Being able to ride through all the feelings we would otherwise avoid…. is the biggest thing we overlook and don't take into consideration. The skill of being able to process any emotion in a clean and present way that doesn't leave you with the hangover of all the drama… is what will take you through it all… from desire and commitment into massive action… until you deliver the result or arrive at your destination.

  • Discovering your purpose

Welcome everyone to the topic of discovering your purpose. Tuning in to why we're here and what it is that we're here to do with our time on earth are some of life's really big questions that we seem to devote very little time to. This may be because we think it's found outside of ourselves and we just haven't stumbled across it yet…or we don't allow ourselves to ever really explore the question…for fear if we acknowledged it we might reject the life we already have, or the fear of failing if we allowed ourselves to pursue it. The other block I think we come up against is the belief that it's actually not possible for us…. Whatever it is. When we filter life through a lens of inadequacy, of always looking at what we can't do, in not being able to acknowledge that we are important and feeling like we're never really good enough, we bypass the opportunity to think big about ourselves and our life. We dare not dream, for what good is it if we have already reduced ourselves.

In this session has been designed to stretch you're comfort zone. A lot of what's been covered in previous episodes…. has been about the relationship with ourselves, processing our emotions and of course learning how to master our mind, which has all been very passive and conceptual. So I thought it might be time to take it a step further, and get into some action …for what good is any of it if we never put it into practice. I believe we all have a seed within us that wants to germinate into it's fullest expression - and that seed is being fertilised by a divine nudge that suggests there could be something more, that perhaps we haven't yet realised our full potential or tapped into our creative capacity. This can show up as a dissatisfaction and discontent with our lives and can have us craving and longing to run towards what could be…over to the other side of possibility and abundance.

  • The 50/50 of life
The Mind Manual by The Mind Manual 197 0 0
In this session I want to talk about the 50/50 nature of life and the suffering we cause ourselves in denying the truth or reality of what it means to live in a world of relativity. We forget that we were born into a world where the rules of the game are that for every action there is always an equal yet opposite reaction. This was Newton's third law and in an extract from a book titled 'The mathematical principles of natural translation in 1729', Newton defines it as: the mutual actions of two bodies upon each other are always equal and directed to contrary parts.
