Electronic Arts kicked off revealing the Mut 25 coins player ratings on the day it announced the top-rated rookies. The company has identified Madden 25's top four 99-rated players the top of the best without taking into the new X-Factor abilities they are with. Update: EA Sports has now taken it a step further and revealed the complete Madden 25 roster's ratings. This includes the top and worst players for each position, along with the numerous players who are in between, as well as the top and most sloppy teams.[]The four 99-rated players of Madden 25 (at the time of launch) are Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins, Los Angeles Rams DT Aaron Donald, Seattle Seahawks ILB Bobby Wagner, and Chicago Bears OLB Khalil Mack. These ratings, as well as the ratings of all other players in the game, may change and will likely during the actual NFL season. Updates to the roster are issued regularly through EA Sports based on how players are doing in real life.

Madden 25's brand new X-Factor system grants highly-rated players super-abilities which are available at critical moments. And the 99 players possess these abilities. According to Pasta Padre reports, "Hopkins is a shrewd catcher against a single coverage. Donald can put stress on the QB while still engrossed in blocking. Wagner has a more secure coverage and has a greater probability of catching the ball on contested catch. Mack's pass rush results in more rapid block shredding."

The new features that will be coming for this Madden NFL franchise was showcased at the EA Play conference for E3 2022.
